Obituary for Everett Martin
Everett Martin, 72, passed away in Gold Beach, Ore. on January 1, 2013. Everett was born August 26, 1940 in Onaway, Michigan to Melvin and Mary (Hyde) Martin. He worked as a machinist and welder for most of his career. Everett married Georgia Dean on February 19, 1962 in Coupeville, Wash. They moved to Missouri in 1963 where they lived until moving to Gold Beach in 1979. Everett enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and tinkering in his shop. Most of all, though, he loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Georgia of Gold Beach, daughter, Karlee Chenoweth of Gold Beach, sons, Gene Martin and his wife, Michele of Gold Beach, Paul Martin and his wife, Angie of Gold Beach, grandchildren, Crystal and Codi Chenoweth and Joshua Martin, brothers, Gerry Martin of Gold Beach, Gorden Martin of Coquille, Ore., Melvin Martin of Sandpoint , Idaho, sisters, Betty and Marilyn, both of Sandpoint, Idaho. Everett was preceded in death by his son, Kevin and a sister, Linda. Condolences may be expressed online at www.redwoodmemorial.net.
