Obituary for Jack Allen Vivian
Jack Allen Vivian, 85 of Brookings OR died June 7, 2015 at Curry General Hospital. He was born July 28, 1929 in Springfield MO to Warren Jack Vivian and Irene Lillian Vivian. Mr. Vivian served in the U.S Navy during World War II, Korea, Vietnam. He retired after 26 years in the Navy as lieutenant commander. He became deputy Sheriff of Grayson County in Sherman TX, and then retired again as Chief Juvenile Probation Officer. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Warren (Cindee) Vivian and Wesley Vivian of CA, Armand Vivian of FL, Jon (Angie) Vivian of MO. Daughter and son-in-law Jennifer (Dennis) Vivian-Maglio of FL. Sister Vivian Nicholson of MO. 3 grandchildren and their spouses: Kimberlee (Jason) Hershey, Ryan (Tania) Vivian and Tina Maglio; 10 great- grandchildren and 1 grand-dog named Rascal. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM. To all of you who loved Dad in our absence - friends, neighbors, church family and more - please accept our gratitude. The Vivian family.
