Obituary for Lila Lee Faust
Lila Lee Faust March 17, 1926 – December 21, 2018
Long time Brookings resident, Lila Lee Faust, passed away at her residence on December 21st, 2018. She was born March 17th, 1926, in Oregon City, Oregon to Lee and Quvene (Eby) Faust. In 1953, Lila Lee moved to Sedro Woolley, Washington, living there until 1974, and moving several times throughout Washington state. She came to Brookings, OR in 1978 and lived here nearly 20 years before moving to Sequim, WA. In 2011 she relocated permanently to Brookings. Lila Lee earned a double major Bachelor of Arts degree and worked as a medical secretary for more than 20 years. In her retirement and free time, she enjoyed activities such as card-making, ceramics, pine needle basketry, quilting, counted cross stitchery, cooking and attending church at the Brookings Presbyterian Church. Some of her achievements include Girl of the Year at the Beta Sigma Phi fraternity, Past President of the Emblem Club and she had a role in the VFW Auxiliary. Lila Lee is survived by her four daughters, Diane Bixler, Susy Sanders, Sally Rauch and Mary Anne Trailor, as well as seven grand-children and three great-grand-children. No service is planned at this time. Redwood Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
