GRIEF & HEALING
affirmations to uplift & help you through
each stage of the grieving process.
Be the first to share your favorite memory, photo or story of Steven. This memorial page is dedicated for family, friends and future generations to celebrate the life of their loved one.
We ask on behalf of the family that you keep your comments uplifting and appropriate to help all who come here to find comfort and healing.
Steven Garrett Jaye had a crooked little smile and a twinkle in his eye; those were the first things you noticed about Steve. Steven passed into heaven October 21 and he will be greatly missed.
Steve worked in construction and was either building bridges or installing windmills. He was a hard working man that enjoyed life. He and his son Garrett spent a great deal of time hiking or fishing. He was known for catching large fish while deep-sea fishing. It was said that fishing with Steve guaranteed a big catch.
Steve was 53 years old and died of cancer. He leaves behind his son, Garrett Ryan Jaye and his nephew Bill Jaye; his mom and step-dad, Ruth and Duren Chapman. He leaves his brothers Nick (and his beloved Heidi) and Scott Jaye.
As a remembrance, the family asks of anyone who knew him to spend a few moments recalling this remarkable man, who he was and how he touched their lives.
He will be buried with family.
