Wendy Edmunds


1965–2022


Wendy was born in Ottawa, Canada. She lived in Massachusetts until the age of 10 and then moved to Seal Beach, California. She completed high school at Huntington Beach High. After that she lived in Redondo Beach, Hawthorne, San Pedro and Los Angeles. She moved to Brookings, Oregon, in 2019 to live with her boyfriend. She worked as a loan processor in the finance services industry.


Wendy loved to dance and perform with the drill team. She played hockey when she was young. She loved to roller blade and swim. She rode dirt bikes and partied on the southern California rivers. She worked at Fred Meyers for a time and was liked and well received by customers and co-workers. Wendy liked to contribute to all the local Brookings food and toy drives. She enjoyed visiting with her friends at the farmer’s market. Her friends in town said she should be on tik-tok, for her energy and love of dance. 


She is survived by her father James  Bauer and two brothers, Kelly and Darryl Bauer.
