Obituary for Vincent Daniel Jaramillo
Vincent Daniel Jaramillo died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Gold Beach, OR on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. He was 33. Vincent was born September 23, 1976 in Antioch, CA to Daniel and Betty (Nelson) Jaramillo. He was raised in Pittsburg where he attended Pittsburg High School. Following graduation, Vincent attended Los Medanos College where he earned an Associate of Arts. He worked a specialist in information technology, spending the last 4 years with Chetco Federal Credit Union in Brookings. Vincent married Melissa Richards in Brookings on October 2, 2004. He enjoyed computers and traveling, but, most of all, he loved spending time with his wife and family. He and Melissa also attended the Church of the Nazarene in Brookings. Vincent and Melissa moved to Brookings 10 years ago and fell in love with this community, but most of all, the people. Vincent was a wonderful and loving husband and will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Melissa of Brookings, parents, Daniel and Betty Jaramillo of Antioch, CA, sisters, Sarah L.M. Jaramillo of Antioch, CA, Elizabeth Joy Jaramillo of Pittsburg, CA; aunt Linda Jaramillo of Antioch; nephews Joseph Caranza-Jaramillo and Elija Caranza-Jaramillo of Bay Point; Elija & John Burks of Antioch. Vincent was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel David Jaramillo. Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund established in Vincent’s name by mail to Chetco Federal Credit Union, PO Box 3000J, Harbor, OR 97415 or by stopping by any branch. A celebration of Vincent’s life will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 6:00pm at the Brookings Church of the Nazarene, 1600 Chetco Ave. in Brookings. Pastor Rick Green will officiate.
