Robert W. “Bob” Paul Jan. 8, 1935 – Aug. 24, 2016
Robert W. “Bob” Paul, 81, passed away at his home in Gold Beach, Ore. on August 24, 2016.
Bob was born January 8, 1935 in North Bend to Cecil and Opal Paul. He grew up in Myrtle Point, Bridge and Greenacres. Following high school, Bob began a career with Penny’s Auto Parts. He worked in several locations including Hilo, Hawaii. He later returned to Oregon and began a second career as a warehouseman with Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative. He worked there for 25 years before retiring. While there, Bob met Janene. The two were married in Coquille on Feb. 8, 1981.
Bob enjoyed watching NASCAR, basketball, football and wildlife.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Janene of Gold Beach; daughters and sons-in0law, Jodee and Bob Jackson of Las Vegas, Nev., Susanne and Wally Williams of Damascus, Ore., son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jamie Paul of Cave Junction, Ore., eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Ferguson and a sister, Betty Wells.
