Michael Linn McNutt
May 24, 1966 – March 1, 2023
Michael Linn McNutt was born to Linn Lee and Carole Joy (Reynolds) McNutt in Coos Bay, Oregon.
He was a Sergeant in the U. S. Army 82 nd Airborne from 1984-1993. Michael was a member of the
Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians, and also a lifetime member of
Veterans of Foreign Wars. He married Beatrice D. Avery in 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice of Gold Beach, OR; his mother Carole Joy Haug and her husband Larry
Haug and stepmother Donna McNutt. He is also survived by a sister Anita Beauchemin, stepsister LaRee
Palmese, stepbrother Eugene Perkins, half-brother Arron McNutt; step kids Danny Ray Caudill Jr., Jennie
Leone Caudill, Dock Howard Caudill, David Wayne Hickcox Jr., Shannda Lyn Hickcox and Michelle Nicole
Tulles. There are also 8 step-grandchildren, several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He
was preceded in death by his father Linn Lee McNutt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm on April 1, 2023 at Huntley Park, 96847 Jerry’s Flat Road, Gold
Beach, Oregon, 97444. Please bring your memories, pictures, lawn chairs, and a potluck dish. In the
event of rain, it will be moved inside to the Gold Beach VFW Hall, 94131 Caughell Street, Gold Beach.
