Marlys Yvonne Boyer Dec. 19, 1936 - June 19, 2016
Marlys Yvonne Boyer passed away on June 19, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. She was the daughter of C. William & Sylvia (Westerso) Stordalen, born December 19, 1936 in Williston, North Dakota.
In 1956 she married Samuel H. Boyce. She bore him three beautiful daughters. They later divorced.
In 1970 she married William G. Boyer. He had children of his own.
She is survived by daughters Colleen R. Boyce, Dianna Lynne Gourley, Thelma I. Scharber; step-children Brenda McGee, Kathy Boyer, Lisa Brown, Skip Boyer and by a sister, Lois Scheker, and a brother Karlton Stordalen.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Carla Rae Boyce, parents C. William and Sylvia Stordalen and husband William G. Boyer. She is survived by her sister Lois Scheker and brother Karlton Stordalen.
She was much respected in the community through her work as a lab and x-ray technician. She also volunteered extensively for the American Legion and V.F.W. Many, many people loved her very much.
