Obituary for Marian Loraine Gamba
Marian Loraine Gamba, a resident of Brookings, OR passed away on May 6, 2019 in Brookings, Oregon. She was 92. Marian was born December 10, 1926 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Eugene Virgil Warning and Isabelle Mary (Warn) Waring. She married Richard Louis Gamba in San Leondro ,CA on May 2, 1948. She was a member at St Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Brookings, OR and She was the Queen in Job’s Daughters. Her interests were Singing, Knitting, Bible Studies, Traveling and Hawaiian culture. One of Marian’s special highlights was when she took a trip to the Holy Land where she published a diary. She lived in Hawaii for several years and enjoyed singing hymns in the Hawaiian language. She Became a great grandma to Andrew in 2018. She celebrated her 90th birthday at Salmon Run Golf course. She is survived by a Daughter Jan and (John) McCollister of Brookings, Oregon and a son Gary and (Dotty) Gamba of Carson City, Nevada. Three children; John Buzolich, Gina Torres, Ashley Gamba and one great grandson Andrew. She was preceded in death by her husband. A celebration of life will be held at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Brookings, Oregon on Memorial Day weekend. The day and time are pending. Memorial Donations can be made to St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.
