Obituary for Lorrie Lynn Erb
Lorrie Lynn Patten (Wilson, Erb) 49 of Brookings, passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2019. Lorrie was born in Fort Morgan Colorado but raised in Brookings with her family. Throughout Lorrie’s life she lived in Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, California, Texas and Arizona but always called Brookings her home. She loved to craft and create things out of recycled materials. She used pinecones, flowers, sticks, rocks, empty plastic containers and everything in between to create her projects. She always had a project going and loved to include all of the kids and adults in her projects. She was crazy, excitable and always on the go. She was always excited about something…didn’t matter if it was a tiny piece of driftwood or a big beautiful sunrise…she got excited and loved to share that excitement with everyone around her.

Lorrie is survived by her sons Tylor Wilson of Brookings and Cory Wilson (Kess) and her 4 very beautiful granddaughters Stella, Berlin, Avalyn and Melody all of Grants Pass. Her Brother Keith (Debbie) and her Sisters Junnie, Carrie and Dorrie (Bill). She will be greatly missed by all of her nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lorrie was preceded in death by her Mom/Dad Margaret and Keith Patten. A memorial service / potluck will be held at 2 pm on Saturday April 6th at the VFW Hall in Brookings. Bring your favorite food and story or memory of Lorrie and share with us all.
