Obituary for Lori Gayle Smith
Lori Gayle Smith, 60, passed away in Gold Beach, Ore. on November 3, 2017.

Lori was born in Exeter, Calif. On Nov. 16, 1956 to Calvin and Florence Matthews. She married David Smith in Brewster, Wash. on Dec. 22, 1972. They moved to Brookings 23 years ago and then to Gold Beach 10 years ago. Lori was a stay-at-home mom and enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband, David of Gold Beach; sons, David, Jeffrey and Richard Smith, all of Gold Beach, daughter, Shelby Smith of Brookings, daughters-in-law, Audrey Shaffer of Gold Beach and Kristine Dinan of Brookings; brother, Steve Matthews of Okanogan, Wash., sisters, Criss Perez of Omak, Wash. and Patti Guerrero of Spokane, Wash., and eight grandchildren. Lori was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
