LOIS YVONNE LINDQUIST Obituary – Date of Passing 8/29/2018
At her request, no services will be held for Lois Lindquist, 82, of Gold Beach.
She was born in Jarrell, Texas in our Lord’s year of 1935 and died peacefully at her home in Gold Beach, OR on August 29, 2018. St. Peter has welcomed Lois at the gates of heaven with open arms.
Lois Yvonne Warrick met Rodney Frans Lindquist at the Edenridge logging camp near Powers, OR in 1956. Rod and Lois subsequently were married for 46 years and shared an extraordinary lifetime love affair. Rod preceded Lois in death in August of 2002.
Lois lived her life fully with conviction and resolve to be the best Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Co-worker and Volunteer. She loved to cook and made a career out of it at Riley Creek Elementary School up 11th Street in GB. Those who would call Lois their friend experienced a dedicated reciprocity in the relationship.
She is survived by son Kenneth, son Wayne and wife Cherry along with grandson Kyle. We the family are celebrating a life well lived in the name of Lois Yvonne Lindquist. Please join us in this celebration.
