Leland Keith Milligan, 82, long time resident of Gold Beach, passed away on February 20, 2016. He was born in Medford, OR and raised in Klamath Falls. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years during the Korean War and was a Bronze Star Medal Recipient. He was an avid fisherman, and he especially enjoyed bird watching in his later years.
He is survived by his niece, Margene Benton of Colorado Springs, CO; nephews Kirk Milligan and Keith Milligan of Klamath Falls, OR; one great-niece Holly Panter (Jake) of San Antonio, TX; one great-nephew Jonathan Benton (Lindsey) of Templeton, CA, and 7 great-great-nieces.
A private family gathering will be held to honor his memory. Memorial donations may be sent to the local chapter of the V.F.W. Redwood Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
