In Loving Memory of Keegan Roderick Boren
Keegan was born on August 27, 2005, in Crescent City. He spent time in Smith River, California and Eagle Point, Oregon, before moving to Brookings-Harbor where he spent most of his life.
Keegan deeply loved his family, friends, and community. He enjoyed many activities and hobbies throughout his life. Participating and competing in team sports was a highlight of his. He had a passion for art, writing and creating music. He dreamed of a future producing music and helping others. He was working at KURY Radio interning as a disk jockey. Keegan was driven to keep improving his game in everything he did.
Tragically, Keegan was taken from us on July 11, 2022. He is greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his parents: Correne Boren and Brennen Moran; brother: Colton Hill; Great Grandparent: Mae Boren and Shirley Ames; Grandparents: Matthew Boren, Michael and Diane Forbis, Ralph and Beverly McKechnie and Mike Moran; Aunts and Uncles: Ryan Boren, Janna (Pierce) Lamb, Cheyenne Temple, Fawn (Nigel) Red Bear, Eli Hooke, Caleb (Jessica) Forbis, Josiah (Kira) Forbis, and Heather (Jeremy) Marks; also by many cousins, extended family and friends.
Preceded in Death by: Great Great Grandmother: Anna Victoria Brickey; Great Grandparents: Roderick Boren, John “Jack” Ames, James “Big Jim” Moran and June Moran (Checci), Charles and Kathleen Gonser; Great Aunt and Uncle: Randolph Gonser and Elaine Simmons; Second Cousin: Jesse Gonser.
A Celebration of life will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 27th, in the concert area of Azalea Park. Bringing your own chair and memories appreciated. Food provided. If you want to assist or contribute you can contact Corrie at 541-661-1447
