Obituary for Harold D. Cooley
On February, 8, 2012 Harold went to be with our heavenly father. He was born in Brookings on March 24, 1932. He married Lorraine Olson on September, 10, 1960. They were married 51 years. They had 4 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; although he was a father to many more than his daughters. He was a devoted and loving father, husband and friend. He worked hard to give his family everything they wanted. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spoiling his girls and working on cars. He will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his wife Lorraine E. Cooley of Brookings; daughter, Kim and son-in-law, Rich Weaver of Brookings; daughters Patty and Christina Cooley of Salem; his grandchildren Heather and Mike Sanders, Christopher Edwards, Tomas Weaver, Takoda Scott, Anthony Cooley, Jadah Scott, Alexis Cooley, Shyla Roblero, Mateo Roblero and his great grandchildren Mikey, Jayden, Layloni and Brooklyn Sanders. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
