Obituary for Frank M. Breunig
Frank M. Breunig of Gold Beach, Ore., passed away in Gold Beach on April 15, 2014. He was 87 years old. Frank was born Nov. 2, 1926 in Yakima County, Wash., to Martin and Dorothy (Beard) Breunig. In 1945, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served honorably for over a year, and earned medals for the Asiatic Pacific Campaign, World War II Victory, and good conduct, as well as a Philippine Independence Ribbon.
Frank married Betty Allen Sedam in Papillion, Neb., and they spent over 60 years together, and had five children.
Frank enjoyed many hobbies; he was a pilot and loved flying. He also enjoyed fishing, cooking, and reading. He was also a Master Mason in the Masonic Society.
Frank is survived by his wife Betty; sons Kenneth Breunig of Gold Beach, Ore., Timothy and wife Tamara Breunig of Big Bear Lake, Calif., David and wife Lori Breunig of Riverside, Calif., and Dale Breunig and partner Thomas Ferrari of Charlottesville, Va.; daughter Sharon and husband Craig Cooper of Woodbridge, Va.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
