Obituary for Everette J.T. "Jim" Braudrick
Everette Braudrick passed away at Parkview Residential Memory Care in Brookings on June 22nd at the age of 83. He was born in Oilton, Oklahoma to Tom & Ora Braudrick, the eldest of four siblings. The family lived briefly in Arkansas before moving to California in 1936. He attended school in Lafayette, California. He joined the Navy in 1943 and was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He married Ella Schmidt in 1950 and had two children. They later divorced. Some of his jobs included the Sheriff's Reserve, a Commercial Pilot and the Merchant Marines. In 1969 he became a Line Truck Driver for P. G. & E. He married Nancy Brown in 1972 and had two more children. He retired to Oregon from P.G. & E. He was preceded in death by a brother Carl, sisters Rosina & Luann and a granddaughter. He is survived by his wife Nancy, former wife Ella, and children John Braudrick, Cathy Gumm, Janice Krohn and James Braudrick; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. At his request there will be no services. Donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
