She also enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, knitting and sewing. A successful entrepreneur, Emma owned and ran her own restaurant, the Golden Egg, in Gold Beach for 23 years before retiring due to health reasons. MacPherson of Gold Beach, and Mark MacPherson of Coos Bay; her siblings Raymond, Anita and Gloria; her close friends Jenelle and Ros of California; and three grandsons, Aiden and Noah MacPherson, and Tyler Smith.
