On a fishing trip with his son, Eino fell in love with Gold Beach and its proximity to the Rogue River. He and Lisa moved to Gold Beach in 2004. Eino enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lisa of Gold Beach, son and daughter-in-law, Kai and Carol Pajala of Vancouver, Wash., brother, Kalevi and his family in Finland, and Eino’s beloved dog, Sitka.
