Obituary for Dulces Nombre Cadena
Dulces Nombre Cadena Jan. 28, 1915 - Oct. 29, 2010 Dulces Nombre Cadena passed away in Gold Beach, Ore. on October 29, 2010. She was 95. Dulces was born January 28, 1915 in Chihuahua, Mexico. She grew up in Presidio, TX. Dulces married Alberto Cadena in Presidio in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by her children Maria Fleming of Brookings, OR, Inez Hayes of Lompoc, CA, Tony Cadena of Champagne, IL, adopted son, Valentin Robles of Santa Maria, CA, Jesus Cadena of Brookings, OR, Lupe Smith of Eugene, OR, Rummy Palacios of Beullton, CA, Rose Maria Cadena of Colorado Springs, CO, Albert Cadena of Brookings, OR and Alonzo Cadena of Brookings, OR. She was the proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Julio and Miguel Guerrero of Lompoc, CA and Ramon of Texas, and a sister, Lograsia Venegaz of Arkansas. Viewing will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 from 4 to 8pm at Starbuck Lind Mortuary. The Rosary will be said at 7pm there. Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at 10:00am at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service and interment at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
