Obituary for Deborah Lane Watterson
Deborah Watterson, of Brookings, passed away in Crescent City on December 7, 2011. She was 55. Deborah was born August 23, 1956 in North Hollywood, Calif. She spent most of her life in California until moving to Brookings in 1989. Deborah married Johnie Watterson, III on April 17, 1993 in Brookings. She enjoyed needlepoint, reading and collecting antiques and jewelry. Deborah is survived by her daughter, Jessi of Brookings, parents, Robert and Dorothy Bentley of Alturas, CA, stepchildren, Johnie Watterson, IV and his wife, Kelly of Brookings, Caryn Mello and her husband, Paul of Visalia, CA, Thomas Watterson and his wife, Debbie of Templeton, CA, sisters, Audrey Kyber of Dallas, GA, Billie Clark of Medford, OR, Caroline Georgiani of Brookings and Kelly Bernadini of Brookings, father-in-law, Johnie Watterson, II of Brookings. Deborah was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters, Saxon Vollor and Leslie Kenton. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 2:00pm at W. J. Ward Memorial Cemetery, 1035 7th St. in Brookings. Pastor Johnie Watterson, IV will officiate. Inurnment will follow there.
