Obituary for Daniel J. Culley
Daniel J. Culley, 33, of Port Orford, Ore., passed away in Gold Beach, Ore. on April 22, 2016.
Daniel was born January 22, 1983, in Carmichael, Calif. to Joe and Brenda (Maberry) Culley. He grew up in Port Orford.
He worked as a commercial fisherman for several years and in the recent past at Freeman Marine.
He enjoyed being on the beach and rock hunting. He loved to polish the rocks he had found and give them away. Daniel also enjoyed reading and most outdoor activities.
Survivors include his parents, Joe and Brenda Culley of Port Orford, Ore., girlfriend, Jessica James and unborn child of Port Orford, Ore., siblings Anthony Culley and wife Molly of Fort Rucker, Alabama, Robyn Culley of Gold Beach, OR, and Jesse Culley and partner Timmy Maynard of Port Orford. He is also survived by nieces Annie Culley, Lilly Comstock, and nephews Brett Reese and Timmy Maynard, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at his parents’ home, on Saturday, May 21 at 1 p.m. The address is 42575 Port Orford Loop, Port Orford.
