Obituary for Christen Maybury
Christen Maybury July 19, 1968 – July 27, 2016
Christen Maybury, 48, passed away in Piedmont, SC on July 27, 2016 from Huntington’s Disease.
Christen was born July 19, 1968 in Santa Cruz, Calif. to Wayne and Charlotte Jackson. She grew up in Santa Cruz, Calif. and Brookings, Ore. She graduated from Brookings Harbor High School where she was a cheerleader. Following high school, Christen attended OIT in Klamath Falls where she also was cheerleader. Christen worked as a dental assistant in Washington and California before moving to Greenville, SC in 1997. She moved to Greer, SC a few years later when she married Rob Maybury and began her family.
Christen was physically fit including participating in martial arts and running. She also enjoyed fashion and had quite a bit of clothing. She was a loving mother. She loved to sing as well.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Wayne and Brenda Jackson of Greenville, SC, sons, Alexander Wayne Maybry of Georgetown, KY and Fisher Davis of Randleman, NC, sister, Susan D. Bristow of Brookings, Ore., brother Jeffery W. Jackson of Sixes, Ore., aunt, Penny Royals of Mitchell, SD, uncle, Warren King of Santa Cruz, Calif; stepsisters, Susan Morin of Scott’s Valley, Calif. and Lynn Maryatt of Santa Cruz, Calif.
Christen was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte M. Maryatt, uncle, Wayne Royals, grandparents, June and Mack Royals, Maude and Earl Jackson; stepfather, Charles E. Maryatt, and aunt, Jodi Holley.

A memorial service will be held 11:00am on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at Brookings Church of the Nazarene, 1600 Chetco Ave. in Brookings. Pastor Tim Lourash will officiate.
