Obituary for Cheryl L. Corrigan
Cheryl Lynn Corrigan, 55, of Brookings, Ore. passed away on February 29, 2012. She was born on January 21, 1957 in Crescent City, California to Richard and Linda Bliss. She was the oldest of three children. She married Terry Corrigan on June 29, 1974. Cheryl’s greatest love was her grand children. She also loved her garden and spent many hours making a beautiful, park-like setting surrounding her family home. She is survived by her husband Terry; daughter April (Scott) Ireland, son Rick Corrigan (Amy), her beloved grandchildren, Chase, Bailey, Dane, Lilly and Ryder; parents, Richard and Linda Bliss; mother-in-law Donna Corrigan; and brothers Mark (Terri) Bliss and Mike Bliss. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Coastal Home Health and Hospice, PO Box 493, Gold Beach, OR 97444 or to Relay For Life, 811 Paradise Lane, Brookings, OR 97415. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00am at W. J. Ward Memorial Cemetery, 1035 7th St. in Brookings. A celebration of Cheryl’s life with a potluck reception will follow at 1:00pm at the Sidney Croft Masonic Lodge, 416 Azalea Park Rd. in Brookings.
