Obituary for Carol Nadine Manning
Carol Manning, 73, of Brookings, passed away in Gold Beach, Ore. on Feb. 9, 2017.

Carol was born November 26, 1943 in Pocatello, Id., one of eleven children to James and Mary Morgan. She grew up in Sacramento, Calif. Carol married Robert R. Manning in Reno, Nev. on Aug. 3, 1963. Together they had three children. Carol worked on fishing boats later in her life – including a trip to Panama and back on a 70’ boat. She also worked as a scalemaster and construction flagger – but spent most of her career as a special education teacher. Carol enjoyed fishing and cooking. She always had a beautiful garden filled with flowers, fruits and vegetables.

Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Brookings; sons, Michael Manning and his wife Zjanett, William “Bill” Manning and his fiancée, Krista, all of Brookings; daughter Mary Eversult and her husband Rick of Yerington, Nevada; granddaughter, Jazzalyn Manning and four siblings. Carol was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
