Obituary for C. Allen Smith
C. Allen Smith April 6, 1959 – March 10, 2011 C. Allen Smith passed away at home in Harbor on March 10, 2011. He was 51. He was born April 6, 1959 in Redding, CA. He grew up in Reno, Nev. where he graduated from high school in 1977. Allen then went to P.I.T. in Phoenix, Ariz. from 1977-78. He had various jobs in his life including work as a draftsman, casino cashier and a correctional officer for the State of California. He also worked for Greyhound Bus Lines. Allen was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling and was in various scratch leagues in Reno. In October 1979 he bowled a perfect game. Allen also ran in 17 marathons during his lifetime. He moved to Harbor in 2008 following the death of his father. Allen enjoyed life and spending quality time with his nephew. He is survived by his sister, Alice Aimar, brother-in-law, Kevin Fagan and nephew, Phillip Fagan, all of Harbor. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. At his request, no public ceremony will be held.
