He graduated from Stockton High School, after which went to work for the Port of Stockton. Bundy enlisted in the US army and served in Germany. He later graduated from Chico State University with a bachelor’s degree. Bundy spent most of his career in sales, where he thrived using the adage “Be bright. Be Brief. Be gone.” He met and married Denise Windham in Santa Cruz in 1998. They honeymooned in Kona, Hawaii and loved it so much they returned year after year. Kona was truly Bundy's home away from home. In 2002, they moved to Brookings. Bundy was an avid mountain biker and runner, including having completed multiple marathons and ultra marathons (50-milers!). He loved politics, sports and even waterskied competitively as a young man. Locally, he was an avid golfer and member of Salmon Run Gold Club. He loved animals and was an active volunteer with the South Coast Humane Society. He also volunteered for the local Senior Center. He leaves behind his wife, Denise Windham-Green of Brookings, daughter, Sally Willey and her husband, Lucas, of La Selva Beach, CA, son, Christopher Green of Santa Cruz, CA, granddaughter and apple of his eye, Sadie Willey, sister, Barbara Griffin of Port Ludlow, WA, and numerous friends and family. His kitties Mallo, Toto, and Curry were his constant companions. Bundy was preceded in death by his parents Araminta and Robert Green. Bundy always said, “Out of the mud the lotus grows.” In celebration of Bundy’s life, please consider supporting something about which he cared deeply. South Coast Humane Society PO Box 7833, Brookings, OR 97415 A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 7, 2014 the Harbor Fire Hall, 98069 W. Benham Ln. in Harbor.
