Obituary for Brian Arthur Jenkins
Brian Arthur Jenkins March 12, 1954 – October 18, 2018
Brian Arthur Jenkins, 64, of Brookings Or, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2018, at Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach Or. He was born in Missoula Montana.
After graduation from high school, Brian joined the United States Air Force in New Mexico, and was honorably discharged. He returned to Brookings, where he worked as an auto mechanic for more than 49 years, the majority of those years in his own business; Brian’s Shop.
Brian had a wonderful sense of humor, with a ready smile and infectious laughter. Always curious, he had interests, just a few of his favorites were reading, wood working, outdoor activities, and music. Brian especially loved all things food, he had a large collection of cookbooks and kitchen gadgets, and was an adventurous cook. Brian will be greatly missed. There will be a private celebration of his life.
Brian is survived by father James Jenkins, mother Anne Jenkins, partner Danielle Castillo, son Dillon Jenkins, brother Paul Jenkins, sisters Brenda Laney and Elizabeth Alakai.
