Obituary for Bill G. Eller
Bill G Eller, 82, went to be with His Lord on September 19, 2021, at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, Napa, California, following a short illness.
He was born August 5, 1939, in Oakland, California, to Charles Arthur and Eula Gertrude Eller. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, California.
Bill served as a member of the US Army from 8/10/1961 – 6/1/1963; US Army Reserves from 6/2/1962 – 11/15/1963; Army National Guard (Yerington, NV) from 11/18/1963 – 11/15/1967.
He married Linda Wilhelmina Durrell in Yerington, NV on November 30, 1963. The couple moved to Brookings, OR in June, 1972 to take advantage of Bible training being offered at Grace Bible Church. Bill served as a deacon and member of the church board for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife Linda of Brookings; sons and daughters-in-law Kevin and Barbie Eller of Medford, OR and Nathan and Chandra Eller of Eagle Point, OR, daughters Lynette Hernandez and Jill Eller of Brookings, OR; grandsons Kyle G. Eller (Idaho), Joseph Hernandez (Oregon), Jonatan Zebadua (Oregon), granddaughters Emily Eller, Veronica Hernandez, Caley Ream, Daniella Eller, Shelby Beck, and Marissa Eller (Oregon), and great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Maddelyn Harrah and Aiden Davis; sister, Shirley Vaughan (Sacramento, California).
He was preceded in death by sisters Crystal, Pauline, and Freda.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Bible Church on November 6, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. and is open to all that wish to celebrate his life.
