Obituary for Beatrice Anne Fuestman
Beatrice Anne Fuestman, of Harbor, passed away at a local care facility in Brookings on October 12, 2012. She was 76. Beatrice was born December 11, 1935 in Portland, Oregon to Gilbert and Helen Brower. She grew up there attending and graduating from Gresham High School. She married early, having her first daughter at the age of 19. In total, Beatrice raised three girls, Kristi, Judith and Suzanne. She worked as a bartender for most of her early career. Later, after moving to Pendleton, Ore., Beatrice worked as an aid at the Eastern Oregon Training Center, a care facility for developmentally disabled adults. Her desire to retire to the coast was fulfilled when she moved to Brookings in 1994. Beatrice loved going to the beach. She also enjoyed spending time with her family,especially her grandchildren, bowling and watching baseball. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Dan Baldridge of Brookings, stepdaughter, Roxann Hallford of Kennewick, Wash., grandchildren, Joe Cordray, Mandy Jennings, Chris Hallford and Mike Hallford, great grandchildren, Abby and Ashley Cordray, brother and sister-in-law, John and Karen Brower of Whitehall, Mont., nephew, August Brower and niece Jessica Brower. Beatrice was preceded in death by her daughters, Judith Hutchens and Suzanne Cordray. A private family service will be held. Condolences may be expressed online at www.redwoodmemorial.net
