Obituary for Barbara L. Walker
Barbara Lorraine Walker, 87, of Brookings, Ore. passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in her home with those who loved her deeply.
Barbara was born on July 5, 1926 in Sausalito, Calif. The majority of her life was lived in Marin and Solano counties, along with her loving husband James Ray Walker, Sr. Her hard work and dedication created a successful life which provided many years of travel and adventure. Most important to Barbara, was her family, love and laughter.
Her warm and vibrant personality touched many lives. She was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend. Her dedication to her family will be cherished always. She will be missed dearly by all.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Susan Hines; her son, James Walker, Jr.; and her nine grand and great-grandchildren.
