Obituary for Hannah G Lawson
Hannah G Lawson December 8, 1923 – January 13, 2017 Hannah Lawson of Brookings, Oregon went home to be with her Lord and Savior January 13, 2017 at Sutter Coast Hospital in Crescent City, California. She was 93. Hannah lived her whole life in Napa, California, then upon retirement she and husband James ”Ed” Edgar Lawson moved to Brookings to live on the beach. She is survived by daughter Carol Goetze , her husband Larry, 5 grandchildren: Cristy Goetze Trujillo (David), Julie Goetze Lamar (Scott), Jeffrey Goetze (Ashlie), Chris Lawson (Amanda), Bryan Lawson (Jennifer) and 17 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces Cindy Harbison (Ken), Colleen Kolbert (Stan), Pam Hebner (Tony) and nephew Dan Wakerley (Sue). Hannah was preceded in death by her husband Ed Lawson, son Tom Lawson, and all siblings. Blessed to be by her side at the end was daughter Carol, grandson Jeff, granddaughter and caregiver Ashlie, and her friend and caregiver Janet Seikel. She told us each she loved us and we held her hand and told her how very much we loved her…then she passed from this world and those of us left behind we will miss her but she will forever be in our hearts until we are called home and will be together again.
